‘Together 2020’ is the result of observations from human behaviors during this pandemic, every day we are witnessing profound acts of courage that are slowing the impact of this virus, we are all experiencing unusual circumstances that influences our behavior. I felt the need to change the narrative of my work, I think our conscious mind has change and our unconscious mind still waiting for answers while receiving lots of information every day, and in response to that; our perspective towards life has change. At that point I couldn’t stop thinking that my work should change too. I needed to reshape myself too. I strongly believe that we all have the ability to change our narrative whenever we choose.Experimenting with materials out of my comfort zone consciously allows me to understand others journey. Often what people need is simply someone who will listen to them with kindness and without judgement. We are all in this together. The recognition of “perfection” is, to a certain degree, arbitrary. Perfection requires a subjective standard. One may say that humanity is perfect, as we humans are collectively behaving as humans are designed to behave, with all our faults being executed as faults are designed to be executed.Nature, with its flawless beauty is, in its own right, a supremely complicated example of perfection. It is possible to rationalize these ideas through the perfect process of logical deduction. That is not to say that human behavior is without it’s intrinsic exceptions to the “norm”. But, the reference to an “imperfect being” is in itself arbitrary. Imperfection is a matter of perspective. Perspective is a matter of conditioning. Conditioning is a perfect process which yields perfect results. Imperfect results are perfect, based on the fact that they are the result of specific, reproducible processes of perfectly executed errata. There is perfection in the simple process of trial and error. The absence of tangibility incites me to being spontaneous and true to my intuition to socialize my work with my perspective. Each imperfect brush stroke, have a life of their own reflecting my perspective, all together are a perfect composition which is our present.
